LOCAL PRESENCE

At Pime Detroit We Aim To:

  • Promote mission awareness
  • Foster vocations
  • Provide financial assistance for missions and missionaries in developing countries
  • Work with local multilingual communities

With an invitation to the United States from Edward Cardinal Mooney, The PIME Missionaries opened our Regional Headquarters and Mission Center in Detroit, Michigan in 1947. Since then we have anchored our efforts and broadened our support efforts in the United States from this location. Through the efforts of our founding leaders, we are able to continually offer support to our missionaries and promote awareness across the United States. In addition to our global work that is rooted in Detroit, we also open our doors to the local Catholic community. We invite everyone to make use of the PIME Center for your religious, educational, and recreational event needs!

PROVIDING HELP
AT HOME IN THE U.S.A.

In addition to our headquarters in Detroit, we also maintain a presence in Harlem and Brooklyn in New York City, and continue our involvement with several parishes in the Archdiocese of Detroit. At PIME, we are accustomed to the struggles associated with language and cultural barriers across the world, making our priests great candidates for serving among those who may be struggling in urban settings. This makes it easy for the PIME Missionaries to provide help to those who need it right at home in the U.S.A.

The PIME Missionaries are committed to transforming lives. We aim to serve our local multilingual communities with help from our loyal contributors who provide financial donations to support our missions and missionaries, as well as help spreading the Word of Jesus Christ, and providing spiritual guidance.
