INDIA – The Kondaparava Village is a substation in the Vissananpeta Parish that needs a new chapel. PIME has worked in the village for 45 years and the current chapel is about that old. Fr. George Puthenpura, PIME, works with the seventy or so families in the area who are very poor coolies (daily wage earners). Fr. George tells us that the people will contribute $5,000 but would need about another $17,000 to complete the building of a new chapel.
